Indeed, the airlines serving Paris Orly airport are called upon to cancel one flight in five of their programs. In particular those scheduled from the evening of this Monday, February 6 until Wednesday, February 8 at 6:00 am.
Air traffic disrupted at Paris Orly airport: flights to Algeria concerned?
In its press release, the civil aviation directorate in France said that cancellations and disruptions are to be expected. With regard to connections departing from Paris Orly to Algeria, many flights are on the schedule for this airport.
Among the latter, Air Algérie has planned to provide several flights from Paris airport to those of Algiers, Oran and Sétif. However, for the moment, the national airline has not yet announced anything about its program for this Tuesday.
Another airline that serves the Paris-Orly – Algeria slot is Air France. The latter has previously announced that it plans to operate all of its long-haul flights, and 95% of its medium and short-haul flights. As a reminder, on the program displayed by Paris Orly airport, the French company has planned several flights to Houari Boumediene airport in Algiers.
Flights to Algeria: Transavia announces the cancellation of its flights from Paris Orly
Transavia is one of the airlines serving the national territory from Paris Orly airport. In a statement made public on its official website, the low cost specialist informs that its air program will be disrupted. In particular, due to the social movement scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
In addition, Transavia specifies that several of these flights will be canceled. Two of which are departing from and heading to the Algerian capital. Indeed, it is a question of flight TO7264 scheduled for 7:25 a.m. from Paris Orly to Algiers airport. But also TO7265 scheduled at 10:55 am from Algiers to Paris Orly.
