The prestigious economic magazine Forbes has just unveiled a new ranking, for 2023, of the most influential women on the African continent and the Middle East. This new ranking includes the names of 100 women, from 27 different nationalities and working in 27 sectors of activity.
For this new edition, the banking and financial sector dominates this Forbes ranking with 23 influential women, followed by 11 women at the head of diversified companies. The Forbes list of most influential women also includes 8 candidates from the investment sector, 6 from the retail sector and 5 participants in the field of health.

The most influential women in Africa: the Algerian Saïda Neghza in the top 50 of Forbes
Moreover, among this top 50 of the most influential women on the African continent is an Algerian personality. These include Saïda Neghza, described as a figure of Algerian employers and entrepreneurship, by Forbes.
At the head of the Algerian group Soralcof, which operates in the field of construction and public works, Saida Neghza is also president of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA). And this, since 2016. This Algerian woman began her journey, especially in the 1990s with a coffee roasting company, which was a first success for this Algerian.
Moreover, following the success of her first investment, Saida Neghza decided to venture into the field of public works and hydraulics, another investment that led to the creation of Soralcof in 2004. Saida Neghza also joined the CGEA as president of the office in Algiers, before becoming national vice-president of the CGEA in 2012, then president in 2016.
The American economic magazine Forbes indicates that thanks to her commitment, Saïda Neghza defends the rights of the child, but also the place of women in society.
