14 new recruits are ready for a new season of Kompani Lauritzen, and when Jon Martin Henriksen and Carina Dahl are guests on Good Evening Norway, they say that it will be a great start – as usual.
– We are sitting on the bus, then we see two angry ladies with berets, tell them and reveal that they had to take action right away.
– So it was a merciless start to the whole package, and you hadn’t seen much of Kompani Lauritzen either, says Henriksen and looks at Dahl.
She nods and says that “all the others” had “looked” at the programme.
– They knew all the exercises, while I had no idea what any of it entailed.

The roller blind went down
Last year it was too much for Vegard Harm when he wanted to go home already on day one. Jon Martin Henriksen recalls a somewhat similar incident where Dahl lost it completely.
– But Vegard started to cry, you got furious. So, that rabble for you. The roller blind completely went down!
Dahl laughs and explains that it was at the start of the stay.
– I screamed: “I’m going home now! Without further ceremony!”
She explains that the tantrum went beyond the ensign.

– I was furious. I felt like he was attacking me. He probably didn’t do that, but I felt it, and then I felt that it was very unfair, Dahl explains.
Angrier than Vinni
Henriksen adds that they are doomed to lose discussions against the commander.
– But I haven’t seen much of Kompani Lauritzen. We hadn’t eaten and it was a ridiculous task. I was very ready to go. I’m a little uneasy about that scene. It was probably not my finest moment, says Dahl, who is also current with the song “Bæst på fæst”.
– It’s probably among the angriest I’ve seen. I would say one button up from Vinni in season one, adds Henriksen.
Here Vinni gets enough: – I can’t bear to listen to your piss!
They say that it was a physically strong group that had gathered, and that they were very happy with their fellow soldiers.
– I’m not exactly an athlete, but then I get there and see the others. Carina is a machine, Tete is a machine, Grunde Myhrer is the strongest beast I have seen. There were only strong people. Then I thought that this would be tough, says Henriksen.

New strict command
But he liked that the program is set up so that you compete against yourself.
– You can talk about becoming a better version of yourself and all that, but there is no doubt that it is heavy stuff to be involved in. It’s an insane scheme. Grown people who are treated like children, smiles the VGTV presenter.
There are two new female commanders this season, and Henriksen remembers them well.
– She alone was so strict, she was so strict. If you think an inspection with the ensign was harsh… She found dust in places I didn’t know existed. She was tough, he recalls.
