Colo Colo had his last training session today at the Monumental Stadium before his match against O’Higgins at the El Teniente de Rancagua stadium for the second date of the 2023 National Championship. The albos don’t think of anything other than adding three again to stay at the top of the table against a rival who also celebrated on the first day.

That is why Gustavo Quinteros continues to test formulas to find the Cacique’s ideal team that will face the Rancagüinos, where he will also have to face the Confirmed loss of Leonardo Gil.

A reinforcement to the field

There were two modifications from Friday’s practicewhere the main novelty was Fabián Castillo joining the starting team instead of Matías Moya. The Colombian has seen himself very well in the works and that is why he appears as a star against the Capo de Provincia.

Nevertheless, Moya also worked alongside the starters in the second half of trainingso it still has options to start in Rancagua.

Another who left the team is Pedro Navarro to give entry to Erick Wiemberg. The winger trained separately on Friday after overcoming a flu condition, and this Saturday, he was able to work alongside his teammates, so his ownership seems a given.

In this way, the most probable formation of Colo Colo will be with Brian Cortes in the bow; Jeyson Rojas, Maximiliano Falcón, Ramiro González and Erick Wiemberg in defence; Cesar Fuentes, Esteban Pavez and Jordhy Thompson in midfield; Marcos Bolados, Leandro Benegas and Fabián Castillo (Matias Moya) in front.

Albos and celestes will face off this Sunday, January 29, at the El Teniente stadium in Rancagua starting at 6:00 p.m.
