Prince Harry arrives alone for the coronation of King Charles III, although Meghan Markle was also on the guest list. Is the Duchess still pushing herself into the limelight?

London – Prince Harry (38) stayed for a long time Megan Markle (41) covered whether they were for the coronation of King Charles III. (74) and King Consort Camilla (75) arrive at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. It is now clear: Harry flies in from California, Meghan stays at home in Montecito with the children Lilibet (1) and Archie, who celebrates his fourth birthday on the same day. However, her former friend Lizzie Cundy (55) is sure that Meghan also wants to dominate the headlines from afar.

“What Meghan wants, Meghan gets”: Despite the cancellation, the Duchess of Sussex wants to be in the spotlight at Charles’s coronation

Meghan Markle and TV presenter Lizzie Cundy met at a charity event in 2013 and the two became friends. “We had a lot of fun together, but I could tell even then that she was a very ambitious person,” Cundy recalls Picture-Interview. At the time, Meghan really wanted to have a British boyfriend. When her dream became a reality and she met Prince Harry in 2016, the “Suits” star cut ties with Cundy, like TheMirror reported.

Meghan and Harry’s withdrawal from the British royal family shocked them, Lizzy Cundy admits to Bild. “I’m shocked to see how Meghan treats not only the royals but also her own family, most notably her father. It’s a shame considering many had hopes she would be the next Lady Di.” And according to Cundy, there are no selfless reasons behind Meghan’s cancellation of the coronation of King Charles. On the contrary, the moderator is convinced that Meghan also wants to be the center of attention in distant California.

I am sure that of course she will try to steal the show from Charles to top it all off. She’s been making headlines in the days leading up to the event and I’d bet she’s sharing a photo of the little one with his birthday cake for Archie’s birthday. What Meghan wants, Meghan gets. And what Meghan wants is attention!

“She knows she’s being booed”: That’s why Meghan Markle avoids the coronation of Charles III.

Of course, Meghan Markle would have been in the limelight, especially if she attended the coronation of King Charles. But that was too risky for her. “I think Meghan won’t come to the coronation because she knows she’ll be booed”suggests Lizzie Cundy in conversation with TheMirror. She would put her interests above those of the children. “I think it’s a farce that Lilibet and Archie won’t be at their grandfather’s coronation. What will Harry and Meghan tell them when they are older? When they say, ‘Why weren’t we there at the most historic moment in British history? Why weren’t we on that balcony?’”

Lizzie Cundy, who was born in Britain, is particularly sorry that Meghan’s cancellation has cast a shadow over the coronation. “It is incomprehensible to me that Meghan insists that her children bear the titles of prince and princess, but then does not show up for the coronation. I think Charles is very, very sad about this. And that’s despite the fact that King Charles shook hands with her so many times,” the TV personality told Picture. BBC reporter Tom Bower (76), who is convinced that the The Royal Family is happy about Meghan’s absence, “they made sure that she didn’t come.” Sources used: bild.de, mirror.co.uk
