One thing becomes clear: that Sebastian Vettel will be the successor to motorsport boss Helmut Marko in a few years does not seem impossible. He thinks it’s “theoretically” possible, explains the 80-year-old to reporter Felix Görner. But Vettel obviously still has to develop something. Because Helmut Marko restricts: “But I think Sebastian has to find himself first. He has to know what he wants in the future.”
Because: The role of an official in Formula 1 is “a completely different situation”. Marko explains why this is so: “You work more hours, earn significantly less, but you have to do just as much.”
