An interesting collaboration is on the way, and that is that, according to the reliable leaker of Fortnite @GMatrixGames it looks like some sort of collaboration with LEGO is currently in the works.

A “complete brick database for Unreal Engine” is apparently in the works, leading @GMatrixGames to believe an island is coming. LEGO complete. As we’ve seen with many Fortnite leaks, they can sometimes take a long time to materialize, and it’s not always immediately clear how things will play out.

That’s why now, readers should also take any leak as just a possibility, as plans are constantly changing and collaborations can fall apart, just like a LEGO brick tower does.

Of course, there have been countless LEGO video games released in the last two decades, from license-based games like Marvel, DC, and Star Wars, to wholly owned lines like Ninjago Y Lego City. The developers have done a lot of cool things with LEGO, but it still seems like there are a lot of exciting things that can be done with the license.

We must admit that, for fans of the brand, it would be great to see what Epic Games could bring to the table. Also, leaker @ShiinaBR believes that “the release date is still quite far off,” so players will have to be patient while they wait to see what Epic Games comes up with.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 started last month. Things started out strong as the game added a lot of content based on My Hero Academia. Unfortunately, Epic Games had to quickly remove the Deku Smash item and the Shockwave Hammer has received a few downgrades, to make it a bit fairer.

Fortnite is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
