The Internet specialist is now also providing the major FritzOS 7.50 function update for users of the FritzPowerline 1260E and 1260. The new firmware update starts automatically and can also be started manually if necessary, so that the home network can quickly benefit from the new features.
FritzOS 7.50 offers a whole range of interesting features for powerline devices. The radar detection and WLAN auto channel function have been improved and dynamic smart repeating has been introduced. In addition, AVM now provides a summary of the 24-hour information about power savings through automatic switching to a power-saving transmission mode.
The additional devices FritzPowerline 1260E and 1260 get an update
According to the release notes, the new firmware still contains bug fixes and general stability improvements. Anyone who uses one of the two additional devices can now benefit from the update. But that’s not all that has changed. The Highlights from the release notes we added at the end of the post. The information is the same for both models, there are no device-specific changes.
