Mexico City.- -The United States Ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, tested positive for Covid-19.
“We have to continue taking care of ourselves against Covid because it is still latent. I want to inform you that after doing a test I came out positive. I feel fine, but I will suspend my activities to follow the protocols they establish,” he said on his Twitter account.
In the morning, the diplomat offered breakfast to businessmen of passenger and cargo air transport at his residence, which was also attended by Mexican authorities in the field.
“I hope that we can find ways that allow us to take advantage of the logistics potential that it offers us,” he said.
On April 17, the Ambassador met with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador at the National Palace.
