For the moment, the only clues available to the public regarding the activities of genDesign are represented by the publication of a series of concept art of the new game by Fumito Ueda.
After conquering fans with poetic stories woven into Shadow of the Colossus, ICO and in the unforgettable The Last Guardian, the video game creator is thrilled to present his next creation. The development works, however, seem to have been considerably slowed down by the international health crisis, to the point that at the moment not even the title of the creation of genDesign.
Despite the difficulties, Fumito Ueda look optimistically at 2023. Interviewed by the editorial staff of Famitsu, the creative guaranteed that the software house is working at full capacity to finally be able to raise the curtain on the project. “The entire genDesign is working hard to finally be able to announce something, – declared Ueda – so please continue to support us“. May 2023 be the right time to make a first acquaintance with the heir of The Last Guardian, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus?
While waiting to find out more, there’s nothing left to do but keep looking for clues in the mysterious concept art of Fumito Ueda’s new game!
