Dortmund.
Good news for everyone who missed out on the Dortmund gala “Roaring Oper(ett)a. There is an extra show!

No sooner had our review of the operetta gala moderated by Götz Alsmann (photo) appeared in Dortmund’s opera house than the wires at the box office were burning hot – all performances were sold out in no time. Now the theater is following suit: There will be an additional performance of “Roaring Oper(ett)a” on Thursday, May 25, at 7:30 p.m. The performance of the operetta “Countess Mariza” originally planned for this evening has been cancelled.

The choir, the sopranos Tanja Christine Kuhn and Anna Sohn, the tenors Sungho Kim and Fritz Steinbacher as well as bass-baritone Morgan Moody and (as guest tenor) Alexander Geller can be seen on stage in arias, duets and choruses from the Dortmund Opera Ensemble.

Tickets (6-42€) are now available at the box office, by telephone on 0231-5027222 or at www.theaterdo.de.
