Sergio Ramos (37) is in negotiations with Paris St. Germain officials for a new contract. The Spaniard’s contract expires in the summer. At a press conference today, PSG coach Christophe Galtier gushed about his centre-back: “He brings experience and discipline and is an important player in the dressing room. There was an exchange between the sports director and him. I’m very happy with his season and what he brings with him on matchdays, but also in everyday life.”
“He is a role model that all our young players should follow”, Galtier stated. Ramos joined the French capital on a free transfer from Real Madrid in 2021 and has made 52 appearances for the Parisians since then. In the current season, the 2010 world champion is an absolute regular on PSG’s defense (39 appearances).
