Carmen and Robert Geiss finally want to buy an apartment in the metropolis of Dubai. But the search turns out to be extremely difficult: the properties are either too high up or too close to where the party is happening – luxury problems!

Shania and Davina about their parents: “They can’t take care of themselves”

And what do Shania and Davina say about them her parents’ plans to find a place to stay in Dubai to gain? As is well known, they are not that into the city on the Persian Gulf. Shania doesn’t really care: “I’m not against it. They should do what they want.” However, her sister has concerns: “They would only do nonsense if they lived here. We’re worried.” Shania: “They can’t take care of themselves, super embarrassing!”

But Carmen and Robert are not distracted by the gossip. They meet an artist manager and real estate agent who wants to show them a few apartments in the skyscraper metropolis. However, the first is right on no-go, because: It is – who should have guessed it? – in one skyscraper. While the view is great, it’s not an option for Robert, who is afraid of heights. Carmen knows that too: “Robert doesn’t get it right here.” But even with the 57-year-old, the property falls through: “I don’t like the location. There’s nothing here. That’s not mine.”

“Sometimes I think daddy would rather have a boy”

On the next try, Robert comes up with a supposedly foolproof plan. After all, the children should visit the Geissens regularly in Dubai in the new apartment. So what could be more obvious than making a very special property personally palatable to Shania? Robert is certain: the 18-year-old will be flashed. However, Shania is skeptical when her father puts her in a Lamborghini and drives her to a garage: “You can drive the Lambo directly into the property and then you’re in a club,” he says happily.

“That’s what awaits you when you turn 21 and celebrate your birthday!” He beams at his daughter with anticipation. But Shania has completely different thoughts about her father after the performance: “Okay, with him driving the car onto the dance floorthat’s cool, but sometimes I really think that dad would rather have a boy or celebrate his own birthday.”

Robert Geiss: “This is Tinder live!”

Next try: A 1,200-square-foot luxury four-bedroom beach villa with a pool, private elevator, and private chef. When Carmen and Robert inspect the property, there is a loud party going on outside the door. “It’s usually quiet here, isn’t it?” Carmen asks. Or?!

But the villa is right in the party mile, which does not go unnoticed for long. “Two of them just flirted with each other, it happened very quickly. It’s such a spanner villa here, you can see it from anywhere,” says the 57-year-old with a laugh. Robert grins: “This is Tinder live!” But the Geissens are now out of the wild party age, so this villa is not bought either: “It’s too big for me and I’m in too much of a hustle and bustle,” says Carmen, rejecting the property. So the search in Dubai continues.
