Gemma, 42, shared a slew of photos and memories for mum Joan’s big day on her Instagram Stories as she wished her a happy birthday.

She started the flurry of messages with a stunning photo of her mother as she wrote: “Happy Birthday to my dearest Queen Mother.”

In the blink of an eye, a young Gemma had her makeup off as she cuddled up to Joan and her brother for a cozy family photo.

The former TOWIE star thanked his mother for “successfully raising two children” among several of his other accomplishments.

In another throwback image, Gemma and her mother looked drastically different as Joan sported long brown hair, a far cry from the wavy blonde locks she sports when she appears on Gemma’s social media and an assortment of reality shows.

Posing beside him, baby-faced Gemma is all smiles as she slips on a faded peach top which she paired with light blue knee-length denim shorts as she called her mum “trendy ”.

Gemma recently admitted she once spent £50,000 on Gucci designer goods in a single day.

The TV legend bragged that he had “money to burn” but the shopping got “boring”.

She was often chided by “posh sales assistants” who didn’t think she could afford their items, adding: “They think my money isn’t as good as the person next door.”

Gemma told the Daily Mail: “At one point I had money to burn. I had Knightsbridge fever.

“I was spending £50,000 a day at Gucci. But shopping gets boring after a while, when you can afford it.

“For me, it was a form of self-harm. Sometimes it’s the thrill you’re looking for, not the stuff.
