The Dieppe brand sold 3,546 vehicles worldwide in 2022. While the majority of sales are made in France, registrations are rising sharply in Germany and the United Kingdom.

+33% in 2022. If it remains far from Renault and Dacia in volume, Alpine has just completed a promising year. The Renault group’s third brand thus sold 3,546 vehicles last year. And very positive point of these results: Alpine seduces more and more abroad.

Increase in sales outside France

Even if France remains by far its largest market, with 2,138 units in 2022, i.e. 60% of its sales, the brand underlines its strong growth in Germany (303 units, +42%), in the United Kingdom (288 units, +43 %) or in Japan (238 units, +39%).

“Alpine continues its expansion in Europe with the launch of the brand in two new countries, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, and the arrival in Reunion with the first two points of sale on the island”, underlines the brand in a communicated.

As part of its international development, Alpine also emphasizes the extension of its network “with 40 new points of sale opening in 2022, bringing the total to 140 sites worldwide”.

A reinforced image abroad which can be explained by a more marked presence in motorsport, “with a fourth place in F1 in the constructor’s world championship, (…) without forgetting the victories in Rally and the place of vice – world champion in Endurance”.

Limited editions that are snapping up

If the brand markets only one model, the new generation A110, it multiplied the limited series last year, the year of the 60th anniversary of the original berlinetta. The three (A110 GT J. Rédélé, A110 Tour de Corse 75 and A110 R F. Alonso) “found buyers in less than thirty minutes”.

Finally the A110R, “the most radical Alpine ever developed”, presented at the end of 2022 already has a full order book for the coming months.

Next major challenge for Alpine: to have a complete 100% electric range with five new models planned by 2028: the future A110, a sports version of the R5 and three SUVs (including two intended for China and the UNITED STATES).

Last November, Renault also mentioned the financial objectives for the Dieppe brand, which would be profitable in 2026, with 2 billion euros in revenue and four times more in 2030.
