Giorgio Armani presents Coleccin Masculina Verano 2025

MILN.- The teacher of the moda Italian Giorgio Armani89 years old, presented on Monday his collection masculine for him summer 2025, without eccentricities and marked by fluid materials.

Against a background of palm leaves projected on a screen and birdsong, the models wandered in the intimate atmosphere of the Armani theater on Via Bergognone, on the fourth day of fashion week in Milan.

Vests, omnipresent, were worn over tunics, sweaters or even directly on the skin. The scarf tied around the neck and the carelessly placed hat complete the Armani summer look.

The jacket without shoulder pads and without lining, emblem of the brand since its founding in 1975, is infinitely available, with or without lapels, sometimes with fine stripes and always fitted to the body.

Pants with pleats, whether or not supported by suspenders, are wide and made of light fabrics, such as cotton, linen, velvet, satin or silk.

Palm leaves adorn silk shirts, vests and pants.

Collection details

Although the collection is faithful to the brand’s usual casual elegance, the strict tie suit in gray or black – tailored for the businessman – also has its place.

Giorgio Armani used a color palette that ranges from gray to camel and black, passing through dark blue and with some touches of pink.

At the end of the show, the fashion veteran greeted the audience smilingly. He has always defended the independence of his luxury group, without excluding a sale or entry into the stock market once he is no longer in charge.

“The independence of large groups could continue to be a driving value for the Armani group in the future, but I don’t think anything can be ruled out,” he declared in an interview with the Bloomberg agency in April.

“At this moment I’m not thinking about selling the brand to a large luxury conglomerate, but I don’t want to rule anything out because it would be unentrepreneurial behavior,” he explained.

As for going public: “We haven’t discussed it yet, but it is an option that could be considered in the distant future,” said Armani, who will turn 90 on July 11.
