Jeremy Renner (52) returns to life with a strong message. The US actor who died in an accident published a photo of himself on Twitter and addressed the following words to everyone who has supported him in recent weeks.
Renner wrote: “I would like to thank everyone for their messages and attention. Lots of love and thanks to all of you.” The superstar then recounts the seriousness of the injuries he sustained from a snow plow on New Year’s morning. It’s hard to believe that Renner’s body survived the multitude of broken bones. “The more than 30 broken bones will heal and get stronger. Just like the love and connection with family and friends.”
It will probably be months before Renner’s injuries have healed. The American is receiving medical treatment three weeks after the accident, but has been back home for a few days. The photo now published shows how Renner’s right leg is treated. Renner lies in a hospital bed while his leg is flexed by a physical therapist.

A cast or larger bandages are not visible. Only a small plaster on Renner’s left ankle reminds of the accident. Whether and which injuries will remain is not yet known. Given the severity of the horror accident, Renner seems to be doing well. Family and friends support him wherever they can. And fans from all over the world wish him a speedy recovery, more than 245,000 Twitter users liked Renner’s post.

In the New Year’s accident, Renner tried to free a family member’s car from deep snow. The car is said to have got stuck near his remote home on Lake Tahoe, Nevada. When Renner came with a heavy snow-clearing device, the vehicle is said to have suddenly rolled away. When trying to stop it, the father of the family was run over and seriously injured.
