Glasses, donuts and apps – Apple is bringing this unusual mixture together in a new series of events aimed at the self-employed and small businesses. “Change Means Business” will take place virtually and in Apple Stores in Germany until March 16th and is intended to impart practical knowledge to support those interested in sustainably developing their own business in every phase, starting with the first pitch.

In free design labs, virtual studios and app spotlights, founders report on their own experiences and give tips and tricks. In addition, the basics of Apple’s Numbers spreadsheet, the Pages word processor and the Keynote presentation software are taught in so-called skills sessions.

In the online seminars, for example, experts report on how one’s own self-esteem can be increased and which tools can help with self-promotion. Anyone who would like to find out how the founders of successful apps proceeded can, for example, find out more about their path in a roundtable with Oleg Stavitsky (Endel), Eva Hoefer (KptnCook) and Max Seelemann (Ulysses) on March 16th in the Apple Store Rosenthaler Straße experienced from concept to implementation.

Sessions look beyond the box of technology, in which, for example, the vegan Berlin bakery Brammibal’s Donuts reports on the development of its brand or when representatives from the Berlin start-up Reframd reveal how eyewear design works on March 9th.

More information and the possibility to register can be found on the Apple website.
