Since Amazon announced in mid-December that it is developing a live-action series of god of warthe hype that exists in the fandom of this franchise from Sony – Santa Monica Studios is brutal, to the point that many bite their nails thinking about who will embody the god of war, Kratos.
This big-budget series will be based on Kratos and Atreus, his son, and will have all parties involved to make it a streaming milestone. However, we don’t know the cast yet.
Rahal Nejraoui, a digital artist better known on Instagram as rahalarts and with almost 30 thousand followers, shared a fan art to show what Jason Momoa would look like as a performer of Kratos. The result is not only fascinating, but it proves that the 43-year-old actor would be ideal for the role.
What is known about the God of War series?
Rafe Judkins of The Wheel of Time will serve as executive producer of the adaptation, while Oscar nominees, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (Children of Men, Iron Man, The Expanse) write and are also executive producers.
In a statement, Amazon demonstrated its ambition for this project and confirmed the participation of Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions and Santa Monica Studio in the series.
The series, whose cast is unknown, has been in development since March. As for its plot, will follow KratosGod of War, who exiles himself from his blood-soaked past in ancient Greece and hangs up his weapons forever in the Norse kingdom of Midgard.
