Spielberg took the main podium to receive his award and delivered an emotional speech, where he recalled his childhood.

said the director about the film that nostalgically portrays the first years of Spielberg’s life (Ohio, 1946) that marked the evolution of his artistic work.

“I think everything I’ve done up to this point has prepared me to finally be honest about the fact that it’s not easy being a kid, the fact that everyone sees me as a success story and everyone sees us based on how they get the information he added.

The film “The Fabelmans” is a very personal review that begins in 1952 and in which passages that conditioned his relationship with art are not ignored, such as the relationship he had with his chaotic family, his moves to the states of Arizona and California (USA) or the episodes of anti-Semitism that he suffered during his youth.
