At the recent event of Google I/Oexciting news was released for Mexican users: Bard, Google’s artificial intelligence (AI), is now available throughout Mexico.
In accordance with xataka, this new AI aims to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing, promising a unique and enhanced experience for users. The most surprising thing is that the waiting list has been eliminated, which means we can now test Bard almost automatically, no need to wait.
What can Google Bard do?
Google Bard offers a wide range of features that make it a powerful tool. One of the standout features is visual support for images through Google Lens. This allows queries about tourist sites, obtaining relevant information and a variety of images to enrich the search experience.
In addition, content can be exported to other platforms such as Gmail or Google Docs, and it also has integration with other applications from the Google suite.
But that’s not all, as Bard is similar to ChatGPT in terms of functionality. Users can ask questions, compose emails, ask for advice, create drafts or scripts, and much more. Although some features may not be available yet, they are expected to be implemented in the near future.
Google Bard Restrictions
Currently, the Bard AI is only available in English, which means that queries must be made in this language. However, it has been announced that it will soon be available in Spanish, although the exact date of this update has not yet been confirmed.
How to access Google Bard in Mexico
Just go to the Google Bard website and click the “Try Bard” button. It’s important to note that this feature is not compatible with Google Workspace accounts, but any other traditional Google account will work just fine.
Once you have requested access to Bard, you will receive an almost instant confirmation by email. From then on, you’ll be able to use Google Bard however you like. Just enter your query in English and wait for Bard’s response.
