Caschy already reported that the first Google Home users were able to find new controls within the Google Home app right at the beginning of the year. This includes in-app controls for smart TVs with the ability to increase/decrease volume, unmute, toggle power on/off, play or pause playback, select channel or select source. As Google now announces via Twitter, those controls will be distributed to all users of the mobile app from now on, so you should keep an eye out for an app update:
