Using artificial intelligence, Google Messages will turn text messages into words and predict responses.
If you do not have the soul of a poet by SMS, artificial intelligence (AI) will be able to give you a little help. While the arrival of generative artificial intelligence in Google tools was announced in March, the digital giant now wants to integrate it into Google Messages. This novelty will help to write messages, but also to transform texts into song lyrics, reports the specialized media 9to5Google.
Real help tool or simple gadget, artificial intelligence continues to be integrated into Google tools as a user’s assistant. The new feature called “Magic Compose” therefore relies on AI to submit message proposals to the user.
The user will thus be able to choose between different parameters, including the tone of the message, ranging from a more playful tone to a very brief response. To offer the most precise answers possible, the AI relies on previous messages and on the database with which it was trained.

For example, if the message received asks you to bring a chalk, then Google Messages suggests several answers: “I’ll take care of it”, “I’ll bring the chalk too”, “I’ll bring the chalk” or “I’ll coming in a minute.”
Another function, this time more anecdotal but just as fun, Google Messages will be able to transform SMS into song lyrics or poems with refrain and rhymes. What make the text more pleasant to read for the one who receives it. But according to 9to5Googlethe option deserves to be further improved because it sometimes generates absurd texts.
The function, which is still in the experimental stage, could be deployed on May 10 at Google IO, the annual developer conference.
