Cancun, QRoo.- Less than eight months after the inauguration of the mayan trainthe federal government continues with the declarations of public utility to occupy private land and allocate it to the Mayan Train.
This time it is about 1,746,517 square meters corresponding to seven privately owned properties, in the municipality of Escárcega, state of Campeche.
According to the Official Gazette of the Federation, the immediate temporary occupation of the seven privately owned properties by the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development is decreed.
It is noted in the decree that the filing of any means of defense by the owners of the land does not suspend the occupation.
“The compensation that proceeds due to temporary occupation must consist of compensation at market value, and its payment will be made to those who legally prove their right to the real estate,” it is added.
The president has insisted that the Mayan Train will be inaugurated in December of this year.
