Mexico City.- To honor the three decades of Shakira’s musical career, the Grammys Museum will present an exhibition entirely dedicated to the Colombian interpreter.

The exhibition is called Shakira, Shakira: The GRAMMY Museum Experience, in which the artist’s evolution will be explored, from her beginnings in Barranquilla to her rise as a global superstar.

Visitors will be able to appreciate interactive features to experience insights into her creative process, as well as exhibits used by Shakira in her most iconic shows such as Super Bowl LIV and her El Dorado Tour.

Among the highlights of the exhibition are: forty artifacts from Shakira’s personal archive, the two halftime outfits at Super Bowl LIV 2020, her Gibson Firebird electric guitar, covered with 70,000 black Swarovski crystals, the Taylor guitar she uses to writing songs, the Gold Yamaha Revstar electric guitar that he played on his 2018 El Dorado tour, iconic sets from the 2018 El Dorado tour, among many more.

These pieces are a testament to so many indelible moments that I treasure, and I am so happy to be able to relive these memories with those who have supported and continue to support me as an artist.” Shakira said in a statement.

The Grammys Museum recognizes Shakira’s continued successes, recently she became the Latin artist with the most views on YouTube and Spotify with her recent song “Bzrp: Music Sessions, Vol. 53” with which she obtained the most views on a single day for a song in Spanish on the video platform.

“Shakira is the rare superstar who has discovered a way to continue to evolve as an artist while growing her audience along with her. She is a serious student of music, and the GRAMMY Museum is pleased to offer a dynamic exhibit that reflects her intelligence and artistry.” said Jasen Emmons, the Museum’s chief curator and vice president of curatorial affairs.

Shakira, Shakira: The GRAMMY Museum Experience will open on March 4 at the permanent Latin Music Gallery at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
