Romain Duris is back for this new international adventure. But this time, it is not on him that the plot focuses.
The succession is assured. Greek salada series that follows the trilogy The Spanish inn, is revealed in a first trailer. Created by Cédric Klapisch, like the three films that preceded it, it features a new generation of characters over eight episodes.
Romain Duris and Kelly Reilly return to their roles as Xavier and Wendy. But this time, it is on their two children Tom and Mia, who have become young adults, that the plot focuses. Prime Video, broadcaster of this program expected for April 14, reveals a synopsis:
“When their grandfather dies, they inherit a building in Athens. Tom, a young startuper trained in New York, joins his sister in Greece to manage the family inheritance. He will realize that Mia, who claims studying in Erasmus, is in fact a rebel activist who lies to the whole family. (…) They will find themselves (like their parents 25 years earlier) living with young people from all over Europe.”

Released in 2002, The Spanish inn painted a portrait of European youth by following young Xavier during his Erasmus year in Barcelona. He shared an apartment there with other students from all over the Old Continent. The public had found the same tape three years later in Russian dollsthen in 2013 with Chinese puzzle. Other iconic actors from the trilogy will be back in Greek saladnotably Cécile de France in the role of Isabelle.
