Michael Gregoritsch reviewed his move to SC Freiburg in the summer. In an interview with 90min, the Austrian says: “It became clear relatively quickly that I was going to Freiburg and that I would also like to go to Freiburg. That was the logical step for me and therefore the only solution.” The 28-year-old striker has settled into the team in Breisgau in a sporty manner. Eleven goals and three assists are after 28 games.
In exchange for Gregoritsch, Ermedin Demirovic moved from Freiburg to FC Augsburg. At FCA, the 24-year-old also impressed with eight goals in 17 games. “Of course it’s great that things work out the same way with Demi on the other side. I’m happy for him too.”Gregoritsch continues, “But I think it was more of a coincidence that Augsburg was also looking for a player who had Demi’s profile – and I think Demi also wanted to leave Freiburg”.
