According to Knapp, none of their employees are involved in the incident.
– As this happened near our shop, we had to stay closed, because the police cordoned off the area. So in that way we were affected. But the police have to do their job before we can open, says Therese Knapp.
At 2 p.m. when the police lifted the cordons, the grocery store could open for the day.
“Tragic with violent crime”
– Now this happens to have happened outside our store, but it could just as well have happened outside someone else’s. That there was a violent crime is tragic for everyone involved, says Therese Knapp at Coop Sweden.
Have you experienced that it was noisy in the parking lot before the violent crime?
– I have not received any indications of that.
