There are some exciting features hidden in the big leak for GTA 6.
It’s been almost exactly a year since a leaker published numerous images and videos from an early version of GTA 6. While the hacker allegedly responsible was brought to justice, fans are still discussing the big leak to this day. One of them is now drawing attention to some exciting features and graphic effects via Twitter (now X).
Already impressive
The account with the name GTA 6 leaks and news
recently shared several short clips from the material leaked last year. As with all leaks, of course, to enjoy these with caution.
Because even if the material has already proven to be authentic, it is a very early version of the game. Features, scenes and characters shown may have changed significantly in the release version or may even be missing entirely; the graphics may also differ significantly from what is shown. Character change and weather
In one clip we can see how we switch between the two main characters become. And it seems to happen pretty seamlessly. In the finished game it will probably only be necessary to press a button and we will play the other of the two characters. This apparently works a bit faster than in GTA 5.

We can also take a quick look at the surroundings of the dark hotel room. Above all, these fall impressive weather effects in the eye, which make the rain look quite realistic.
Elaborate animations
In a second clip, a comparatively minor feature is shown, but it also amazes many fans. If you collect weapons in the game world, they don’t just end up in your hand or in your inventory like in most games. Instead, your character actually bends down and grabs the assault rifle in the clip:

The animation still seems a bit clumsy, but after all it is an early development version of the game, which probably dates back to 2019. Things could look a lot better now.
