After a break in Cologne, which he spent with his family, but also as an actor for another project, Niklas Osterloh has been shooting again for GZSZ in Babelsberg since October. In a video the actor revealed that after such a long absence, he was actually a little nervous about getting back on set. But he was warmly welcomed by his old colleagues and immediately felt “at home” – after all, he has been in front of the camera for the daily soap as a handsome carpenter for six years and has been part of the main cast ever since.

This news may come as a surprise to many viewers. From the beginning there was no talk of a final exit, but there was Paul’s departure from Berlin looked like a well-considered decision. It was then a Shock for all fans of the dream couple: After a long period of harmony, Paul committed an affair a long time ago, which Emily (Anne Menden) could not forgive him despite her best efforts. The divorce followed, then Paul also became an unintentional father and decided to have a relationship with Gina (Isabel Hinz) in order to be there for the child together as parents. While Emily tried to get over the pain of separation, things seemed to be going well for Paul’s new family. Gina and he decided to move to the country to offer son Tom a childhood outside of the big city – but probably also to turn their backs on the past and avoid being close to Paul’s ex-wife. Was the action ultimately just an escape from feelings?
