The stars are mobilizing more and more massively and more and more loudly to assert the rights of actors and authors in Hollywood. Tatiana Maslanystar ofOrphan Black and recently from she hulk on Disney+ tangled on the picket line this week.
And she didn’t mince words (via THR): “I have friends who have been doing this for 30 to 40 years and who have lost their health coverage because their income is already very low, and the minimum wage has gone down further. It’s like we’ve been completely left out.“
The Marvel actress isn’t shy about taking on her boss, Disney CEO Bob Iger, who doesn’t want to lose his arm wrestling and who called the strike a “very disturbing“, calling on trade unions to “be realistic“. Tatiana Maslany even believes that he is “completely off the mark!” She insists :
“He is completely disconnected from the workers who make his shows and perform on stage, from those who make people watch his shows and bring him viewers and bring him money…”

Attacks which could well call into question the already very uncertain future of the actress in the sequel to the MCU. Maslany, who is currently playing on Broadway in the theater in Gray House, even already speaks in the past tense of his incarnation of she hulk :
