Next Wednesday, May 17, Amandine Small (Miss France 2021) will release her very first book I decided to dare! at First Editions. The 25-year-old tells us about her career, her former shyness and her personal and professional ambitions. “When you are Miss France, there are so many things that happen in such a short time, so many first times that come true… Afterwards, you say to yourself: but what is it still possible to do? “To be honest, it seemed so impossible to me that I had never asked myself the question of writing a book! Finally, I made the right meeting at the right time”, she confided in an interview with the magazine Public this Friday, May 12, 2023.
“I want to start a family”
Indeed, for the writing of her book, Amandine Petit went hand in hand with the editor Olivia Karam with whom she learned a lot: “Writing is a real job. I’m not a big reader and I wouldn’t have been able to do it on my own.“, admits the ex-Miss France to Public. The young woman was also asked about her long-term plans and two are particularly close to his heart : “On a personal level, I would like to have a child and get married. Marriage is important to me. I want to start a family. On a professional level, a lot of things interest me, radio, for example, but I admit that I have already climbed the steps of the Cannes Film Festival as a Miss and that I would dream of climbing them as an actress. It’s really a job that would tempt me. I really like, for example, actresses like Géraldine Nakache and Leïla Bekhti.”

In December 2020, then freshly elected Miss France, Amandine Petit had already confided in Tele-Leisure on his love situation: “I think there is a secret garden to preserve during my year as Miss France. It’s only been two days since I was elected, I’m not going to reveal everything to you all at once! See you next episode, you already know I have a cat!”, she revealed.
