LA PAZ, State of Mexico.— Teacher Delfina Gómez Álvarez, candidate for governor of the State of Mexico for MORENA, PT and PVEM, announced a large employment program for youth in the entity during her administration, detailing that the right to of all young people from Mexico to receive that opportunity and provide job training.
“We are going to support our employers a lot and we have already talked with some about the need to strengthen the hiring of young people, that it is very important to us that they have their first job.” The teacher Delfina Gómez added that there are young people who say “we just want the opportunity to show that we can work, that we can put into practice what we learned at the university or what we learn in a Conalep or a high school, but give us the chance”.
For this reason, the teacher Delfina Gómez added that support will not only be given to young people, but also to women who have left their studies cut short to be able to work and it will be essential to promote their first employment opportunity.
Before more than 25,000 people gathered at the Los Reyes Baseball Stadium, teacher Delfina Gómez met with militants, supporters, neighboring residents and acquaintances from La Paz, like her teacher Melba, whom she emotionally hugged. “She was my teacher at Normal, here she is very well preserved, and she knows all my history!”
The teacher Delfina Gómez detailed her proposals in terms of security, continuity and improvement of social support for women free of charge and without conditions; she wanted better working conditions so that Mexican women can earn the same as men and she referred to the girls, boys and young people of whom, she said, “are the reason and the motor of what we are going to do.”
“We have to support all those generations, we should feel proud!” said teacher Delfina Gómez, by offering a great program to promote the first job for young people, for which the business community has already been asked to collaborate.
The teacher Delfina Gómez pointed out that she is committed to a better quality of life for all sectors, therefore, there will be savings with the reduction of salaries for senior officials, corruption will be fought with a digital government, and the government plan will be It will be enriched with the citizen proposals that are discussed in the regional forums that began this Saturday.
In the work plan “Youth, generation of hope”, the teacher Delfina Gómez has proposed establishing the right to first employment for young people from Mexico and providing job training, considering that girls, boys, adolescents and young people are a sector of the population that deserves special attention, since according to data from the Inegi in the State of Mexico the population between 0 and 19 years old represents 33% of its inhabitants.
Before teachers, peasants, housewives, merchants, musicians and other sectors, the teacher Delfina Gómez assured that with La Paz, Los Reyes, San Sebastián and other colonies there is a great moral debt, because there has been a lack of political will to carry out works and services that are urgently needed in this area and that many are already advanced, but have been underway for years.
“In Los Reyes, look, even though it is very close to Mexico City or Texcoco or Chicoloapan, it is very forgotten, and Los Reyes and La Paz already have to see them, we already have to attend to their priorities, we already have to take care of what they really need!” said teacher Delfina Gómez, which drew thunderous applause on the sunny morning.
The teacher Delfina Gómez mentioned that the drainage and water works will be reviewed, with organization, planning and good administration, but above all with political will.
Later, the teacher Delfina Gómez also visited Tepetlaoxtoc, accompanied by Martha Guerrero, president of the State Executive Committee of MORENA; Higinio Martínez Miranda, special delegate of the CEN of MORENA in the electoral process of the State of Mexico; José Couttolenc, general secretary of the PVEM in the State of Mexico; and José Luis Montalvo, from the PT in the State of Mexico.
