Cases related to drug trafficking are quite recurrent, but the elements related to this one are unusual because the case revolves around the kidnapping of two individuals. In the wilaya of Naâma, two hostages were released thanks to the national security services. It is in a press release relayed by the authorities of this same wilaya that the relative details were disseminated.
According to the official Naâma police page, law enforcement received information that led to the dismantling and the rescue of the two hostages. At the same time, the authorities succeeded in dismantling a drug trafficking network. Indeed, by releasing the two individuals, they got their hands on drugs. The network was very active, and operated in drug trafficking.
Dismantling of the network: the seizure was successful
Beyond the release of the two hostages, the national security services were able to seize a large quantity of drugs. The quantity of drugs seized is estimated at 23.6 kg. In addition, a large sum of money was found during this same seizure, more precisely 117 million cents but also five (05) mobile phones.
Regarding the elements relating to the kidnapping case, a metal bar was discovered at the scene. It would have been used to attack the two hostages and therefore constitutes an exhibit.
During this search, the authorities also got their hands on four different vehicles, two of which were utility vehicles found during the same seizure.
The various suspects will be brought before the prosecution of the court of Ain Safra, but first, a judicial file must be constituted.
Mila: release of a kidnapped young woman
This time it is the wilaya of Mila which has been hit by a kidnapping. The units of the regional group of the National Gendarmerie managed a young girl who had been abducted. She was found in an old residence in the Bouachra forest.
According to the Arabic-language media Ennahar, the police were alerted by a person who accompanied the young woman and who went to the police station to report the kidnapping. The victim was kidnapped while the two people were simply at the restaurant, more precisely in Hammam Bani Haroun.
Following their intervention, the authorities succeeded in arresting 4 suspects in addition to seizing several bladed weapons and psychotropic substances.
