After the brutal knife attack suffered by two sisters of Leandro N. Alem, in the middle of a family dinner, by Carlos Daniel P. (32) -partner of one of the victims-, both Carina (30) and Carolina ( 20) are out of danger. However, they continue with multiple care to heal from the injuries caused by the attack because they also had to undergo surgery.
Carolina -sister-in-law of the aggressor-, as the mother of the victims opportunely pointed out to El Territorio, was discharged yesterday morning after being hospitalized for six days at the Samic de Oberá Hospital.
The young woman who is under rigorous care at her home, in dialogue with Here we will tell you about it by Radioactiva, stated what her state of health is like, in addition to some details about that confusing night that she lived with her relatives, as a result of the attack by his brother-in-law, who didn’t care if his own children were present.
“I have wounds in different parts of my abdomen,” Carolina said, adding that the stab wounds hurt her a lot. Therefore, she expressed that she must take care of herself for several days to heal in the best possible way.
In this context, he expressed that “the doctors told me that now I have to take care of myself with food and then in a few days go back to the hospital to have the stitches removed and check my state of health,” he said.
When asked how Carina (30) – the sister and partner of the attacker – who took the brunt of the attack, is doing, the young woman replied that she still does not have much information about her, because she had recently arrived at her house and did not he had talked a lot with the family. But in the same way, she was able to say that she received good news, since she mentioned that “I know that she has already left intensive care and is in the common room.”
On the other hand, Carolina recounted some details of how the 32-year-old man’s attack on her sister was first, and then on her, making what started as a family dinner turn into a traumatizing episode.
“We were all sitting outside, a bit far from the house. At one point he entered the house and minutes later he came out with the knife in his pants pocket, ”he said.
“First we didn’t see that he had the knife, because he hid it. Later we approached him and when he saw that Carina was closer, he decided to attack, ”he continued narrating.
He also mentioned that when he saw that his brother-in-law “was fighting very badly with Carina, I decided to get in to defend her,” he said, adding that “I tried to help her because I saw that she was in danger and she ended up stabbing me too.”
When asked what her brother-in-law was like with his sister, the interviewee said that “he was always like that, being angry and grabbing a knife to threaten. I was not surprised that he did that, but the timing was.”
She also mentioned that after her brother-in-law’s rapid assault, he ran away, while her boyfriend was chasing him.
“He ran him for several blocks to catch him,” he said. However, he narrated that the accused of attempted femicide managed to disappear after entering the weed sector.
In this context, the young woman recounted that “after the attack she was very ill and could not walk. At that moment the neighbors and my boyfriend called the police.
On the other hand, the young woman stated: “They told me that I have to go to report, but now I am not in good condition to go to the police station. That is why I would like them to come to my house and take the complaint here.”
Finally, Carolina advised that women in the community who are suffering violence “don’t be afraid of a man like that.” She added that “men like my brother-in-law lack guts if they have to threaten so that I don’t report them or anything,” she closed.
