Cd. Victoria, Mexico.- A crash left three people dead and six injured this morning on the Victoria-Monterrey Highway, in Tamaulipas.

Authorities reported that the accident was reported at kilometer 68 of Federal Highway 85, at the height of the San Francisco ejido, in the municipality of Hidalgo, where a black GMC Terrain vehicle with Tamaulipas license plates and a Honda participated. CRV with Nuevo León license plate.

Inside the Tamaulipas unit they found the body of María Luisa Méndez Alvarado, 57 years old, a resident of the municipality of Hidalgo.

While in the royal car, a gray Honda, RUB 775-B CRV model plates, they located the bodies of a woman, between 16 and 18 years old, and a minor of approximately 3 years of age.

It turned out that the GMC vehicle was traveling from Ciudad Victoria to Monterrey and collided head-on with the Honda.

After the mishap, six other people were injured and were taken to hospitals in Ciudad Victoria.

The State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) reported that there was another mishap at kilometer 73 of said road, where there was a burnt-out vehicle, with no injuries reported, and one lane was blocked, which generated slow traffic.
