Heart of the Garden presented at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden

MIAMI.- Peter London Global Dance Company and Miami Beach Botanical Garden are pleased to present Heart of the Garden (Heart of the garden). This is a contemporary and Afro-Caribbean dance concert that celebrates the cultural heritage of Miami Beach.

The show features new productions from the company:

  • I AM MY BROTHER’S KEEPER by Vitolio Jeune, outstanding Haitian-American dancer and choreographer
  • STEPPE TANGO by Armando Gonzlez, principal dancer of the Grand Ballet of Geneve, Switzerland
  • “AND SO I RUN” de Kashia Kancey, Black Girl Magic de Overtown
  • “CURRENT” by Justin Rapaport, winner of the Dans de Danza Teatro Prize at the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition
  • “CARIBBEAN SUITE” por Peter London

The electrifying choreography and dancers in the special environment of the Botanical Garden, vibrate with the energies of the rich waters and heat of the sands of Miami, the intoxicating fresh air and the delicious, warm sun.

Enjoy up close and personal the majestic manifestation of beauty of the water goddesses Urzulie and Oshun in the KALINDA WASH dance and the vigorous muscular power of SHANGO, God of Lighting and Thunder in the CARIBBEAN SUITE KING CARNIVAL dance.

The audience will enjoy inspiring Afro-Caribbean dances and cultures transmuted into modern dance.
