The monthly free games from PlayStation Plus tend to leak earlier than Sony has planned. That’s how it has been again, and the list for February seems to have been revealed.

As before, it is the mysterious “billbil-kun” that has revealed the list of upcoming PlayStation Plus games. Via Twitter writes that the month offers four games – namely OlliOlli World, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Evil Dead: The Game and the Destiny 2 expansion Beyond Light.

OlliOlli World (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5)

The third entry in the OlliOlli skate series was originally launched in February 2022. The game once again allows you to tackle a bunch of skateboarding challenges in a two-dimensional and hand-drawn world.

OlliOlli World also introduced some novelties to the series, such as host ramps and the ability to choose different paths to the finish line. The game was well received by both players and critics.

Mafia: Definitive Edition (PlayStation 4)

Mafia: Definitive Edition revamps the original gangster adventure from 2004, with overhauled graphics and brand new game mechanics. Our reviewer praised the game’s appearance, but missed a more engaging gaming experience.

– Mafia Definitive Edition both surprised and engaged at the beginning. The big city, the beautiful cars and the heavy but cool driving made me want more. Unfortunately, the somewhat tame and cliché-filled narrative, the empty world and the outdated systems ended up disappointing, wrote Andreas Bjørnbekk.

Evil Dead: The Game (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5)

Saber Interactive

The survival game Evil Dead: The Game came to the world last spring. The game is based on the zombie series of the same name, and consequently offers slaughter of the undead either alone or with friends.

Evil Dead: The Game has mostly received good reviews, and developer Saber Interactive is still tinkering with more content for the experience. On February 2, the game will get another new expansion called Ash vs Evil Dead.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5)

Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

Bungie

Beyond Light, the fifth major expansion for Destiny 2, was first launched in autumn 2020. The game offers new challenges and several battles against both computerized opposition and other players, and despite a slow start for the expansion, reviewer Rune Fjeld Olsen had to say he was satisfied.

– I know there are divided opinions about the actual qualities of Destiny. But for me and millions of other players, this shooter/MMO hybrid is both a kick ass shooter and a great social gathering place. Bungie does a lot of trial and error, and sometimes I have a slightly strained relationship with what we get delivered from season to season. But once Bungie hits, it just sits so incredibly well.

The games will be free for all subscribers, whether you have an Essential, Extra or Premium subscription. They are available from February 7th through March 6th.
