The next season of content for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 introduces a new map for players to try their hand at. This week Activision showcased what players can expect of the area called Ashika Island.

As we knew from earlier, the new map is built for the DMZ and Resurgence, the mode that makes a comeback from the first Warzone. It is a smaller map than Al Mazrah, but the exact size has not been confirmed.

Ashika Island consists of a town, beach club and farm area on the west side of the island. To the east is a harbor, a couple of wrecked ships and a residential area. Everything leads up to the center of the map, Tsuki Castle, which players may recognize from the multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Players also get to move under the island, through a canal system.

Ashika Island is just one of several sweeping changes to Warzone 2.0. The game’s Season 2 – which launches on February 15 – also offers a major overhaul of almost the entire gaming experience.

Season 2 also brings a reboot of the DMZ mode, which has been highly debated among fans. This resets all the progress you have made so far, and removes weapons, keys and other items you have found in the field. Infinity Ward has admittedly said that players will not lose their “insured weapon slots”, which many were initially worried about.
