CDMX.- Ovidio Guzmán, son of “El Chapo”, was recaptured yesterday, a fact that has not gone unnoticed because it occurs within the framework of President Joe Biden’s visit to Mexico for the North American Leaders Summit.
The capture of Ovidio Guzmán is not the only apprehension that is carried out in the framework of a bilateral meeting with the United States; It also happened with El Marro, Rafael Caro Quintero and former Governor César Duarte.

On July 15, 2022, Rafael Caro Quintero, one of the most wanted Mexican drug traffickers by the United States, was arrested. The arrest occurred in the municipality of San Simón Choix, in Sinaloa.
“El Narco de Narcos” was apprehended by the Secretary of the Navy days after President Andrés Manuel López Obrador held a bilateral meeting with his US counterpart, Joe Bidenin the White House.
The meeting held by both leaders was held on July 13.
