MEXICO CITY (proceso.com.mx).- Tropical storm Hilary will continue to cause heavy rains this Monday morning, while tropical wave 24 will be in charge of maintaining rainfall throughout the week, according to the Service National Meteorological (SMN)
During the night of Sunday and early Monday, the tropical storm Hilary will move over the state of Baja California, entering the state of California, United States during the early morning.
Its dense clouds will maintain punctual intense rains in areas of Baja California, very heavy rains in Baja California Sur (north) and Sonora (northwest), as well as heavy rains in areas of Sinaloa, Chihuahua and Durango, in addition to intense gusts of wind of 80 at 100 km/h with high waves of 4 to 6 meters high and storm surges on the coasts of Baja California (west and northeast) and Sonora (northwest), as well as wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h in Sonora.
For this one Mondaytropical wave 24, will move over the southeast of the Mexican territory and in interaction with the entry of humidity from the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, it will cause heavy rains at very strong points in said regions, reported the body of the National Water Commission (With water).
On the other hand, the proximity of a low pressure zone with cyclonic potential over the northeast of the Gulf of Mexico will cause abundant moisture ingress, generating showers and heavy occasional rains in the northeast and east of the country, with very heavy rains in Tamaulipas.
On the other hand, the Mexican monsoon over northwestern Mexico will interact with a low pressure channel that will extend over the north, west and center of the country, causing showers and heavy occasional rains in the mentioned regions.
The aforementioned rains will be accompanied by electrical discharges, gusts of wind and possible hail, recalled the SMN, noting that tropical wave 23 will move away from Mexican territory. Finally, the very hot environment will continue in the northwest, north and northeast of the country, and in the Yucatan Peninsula.
A cool atmosphere and fog banks are forecast at dawn in high areas that surround the Valley of Mexico. During the day, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain and intervals of showers in Mexico City and in the State of Mexico, which could be accompanied by electric shocks and possible hail fall.
On Tuesday, the area of low pressure with a probability of cyclonic development in the Gulf of Mexico will enter the northeast of the national territory, causing intense punctual rains accompanied by electric shocks and gusts of wind in Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, as well as heavy rains in San Luis Potosi.
During the forecast Period, tropical wave 24 will move over the south and west of the national territory, while the zone of instability with a probability of associated cyclonic development will be located on the coast of the Mexican South Pacific, causing heavy to very heavy rains with electrical discharges and gusts of wind over entities in the southeast, south, center and west of Mexico, forecasting intense punctual rains on Tuesday and Wednesday in areas of Chiapas, Veracruz, Oaxaca and Guerrero.
On the other hand, the Mexican monsoon, divergence in height and the ingress of moisture from the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, will cause showers and heavy rains at very strong points with electric shocks and gusts of wind over entities in the northwest, northeast and eastern part of the Mexican Republic, as well as in the Yucatan Peninsula, highlighted the SMN.
