A 29-year-old Hispanic man was shot several times in South Philadelphia.
The gore was reported to have taken place on South 52nd Street at 5:00 p.m.
The victim sustained a shot in the right leg and the left leg, as well as a bullet in the abdomen. He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Hospital and admitted in stable condition.
So far no weapons have been recovered or details of the suspect(s) have been revealed. The incident remains under investigation.
This occurs just a day or rather hours after a mass shooting on 56th Street where five people died and four others were injured, including adolescent adults and children.
