So sad news if you are one of those looking forward to exploring Hogwarts on your Switch, it will unfortunately be delayed. The idea was that it would be released on July 25th, but now Portkey Games and Avalanche Software have announced that it will be November 14th instead. No more detailed explanation than that has been given, but presumably they want to make sure that the game is as good as possible and optimize it properly for the Switch before the release.
It’s been going pretty well otherwise for Hogwarts Legacy to say the least, selling over 15 million copies to date and grossing over a billion dollars. Recently it was also released for Xbox One and Playstation 4 and has been out for Xbox Series S/X, PC and Playstation 5 since February 2nd of this year.
