A few days before the end of the year holidays, the studios of Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. also wanted to donate their gifts. Like the families of Harry Potter who send a package to their loved ones, tenants of the Hogwarts Magic Academy, the teams behind the video game Hogwarts Legacy accompanied the players for a good thirty minutes. Indeed, they published a big gameplay video last week which notably looks back on the game’s fights in the Harry Potter universe. If some will have access to powerful spells in exchange for ten eurosit is the difficulty of the sequences that challenge the players on the Reddit social network. In a long thread that returns to this showcase, some believe that the game was in the lowest difficulty:

In fact, it is good to remember that The Hogwarts Legacy displays several levels of difficulty which will adapt to the level of the player. On that subject, it’s the Community Manager FinchStrife who wanted to respond personally to this assertion. It indicates that the game was at the difficulty level Normal while specifying that the player (Andrew) used for the demonstration plays it daily: enough to give the impression that it’s easy, like Carl Jr. on Trackmania or Miss Mikkaa on Elden Ring.

“Becoming powerful will have to be earned”

In addition, it is worth remembering that most of the fighting takes place in the dark mage fighting arena: a building exclusive to those purchasing the Deluxe version of Hogwarts Legacy. It grants access to all ancient magic spells in the game like Avada Kedavra (supposed one-hit kill). There are also spells classified as Unforgivable Curses : one causes fear, another stuns it while Imperial Allows you to pass an enemy to your own side. These three curses can therefore be tested before they are available in game. On this subject, FinchStrife wants to be reassuring:

The Dark Arts Battle Arena allows you to test all three curses, but this does not indicate the availability of these spells in-game. They are optional and are not immediately distributed to the player. For example, you cannot walk around and learn Avada Kedavra very early. Without saying too much, becoming so powerful will have to be earned and accompanied by a narrative weight to justify the choice to learn and use these spells.

Something to bounce off the main plot of Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy. Indeed, the player incarnates there (100 years before the events of Harry Potter) a wizard who integrates the school of magic in fifth year. He displays an affinity with ancient magic and it is he who will have to orchestrate the university’s magical legacy.

As a reminder, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy is expected on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on February 10. It is scheduled for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 04, 2023 and will land on Nintendo Switch on July 25 of that year.
