By now more and more heroines are being placed at the center of videogame products. In the past, there were few titles that could boast a protagonist, while now more space is given to the female universe. And one of the last generation games to have done that is Horizon: Forbidden Westsequel to Guerrilla Games’ acclaimed Horizon: Zero Dawn.
The first title had already stood out a lot on PlayStation 4, and certainly the sequel was no different. Obviously many of the merits go to the artistic and technical sector, with Horizon Forbidden West among the games with the best graphics of 2022, but the playful and story system should not be put aside, with Aloy once again at the center of the story on a desolate and at the same time dangerous planet, due to the mechanical creatures that live there.
As she also had to do in the first title created by Guerrilla Games, the protagonist of Horizon will have to face dangerous missions and certainly cannot leave her home to explore the forbidden west unprepared. There is always a need for excellent equipment, as well as her reliable bow.
