Google Maps lets you download maps of places to your smartphone so you can use them offline if you don’t have internet access.
The democratization of GPS among the general public has revolutionized the way people move. So much so that it is sometimes difficult to navigate without the navigation applications integrated into smartphones, from Google Map to Waze via Apple Maps. A situation that can arise if, for example, you are abroad without the possibility of Internet access or in a white area.
However, owners of Android devices have the option of being able to find their way without a mobile network or Wi-Fi via Google Maps. All they need to do is to have previously downloaded a map of the place where they want to go into the application. Although viewed offline, the map will allow them to use GPS navigation as well as get directions.
