“Let’s Dance” pro Renata Lusin suffered three miscarriages within a year. The 35-year-old even danced with the dead fetus in her stomach, as she now announces.

In March, the dancer confirmed corresponding media reports to the RTL television station: “Yes, unfortunately it’s true. The baby has not developed. ”Lusin is now giving further details about her three miscarriages within a year – and is thus showing herself from a very vulnerable side. She danced with a dead baby in her stomach, as she now reveals to “bild.de”.
The worst case was in October 2022, Lusin’s second pregnancy. She was in the 13th week when the fetus stopped developing and died. “I still remember: It was a Thursday when I found out. Then on Saturday, with the dead baby in my stomach, I danced at a show. With autographs, smiles and everything. We were just booked, didn’t want to disappoint anyone. The excavation was on Monday at 8 a.m.,” she says in an interview.
No time for long mourning
Despite all the bad news, Renata Lusin tried to stay strong. She only allowed herself one day after the miscarriages to be sad, to shed tears. “My body is probably protecting me from feelings that are too dark,” she muses.
She cannot yet explain why Lusin had the miscarriages. “I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I do a lot of sport, I don’t have too much stress,” she emphasizes. Now your uterine lining will be examined. She made her last pregnancy public so early because she “definitely didn’t want to lie”. After all, she canceled her participation in the current season “Let’s Dance” for this reason. On Friday evening (April 14, RTL) she celebrates her comeback on the show. She will perform the opening dance and coach the jury dance together with Motsi Mabuse (42). She is very happy and will “go full throttle” again.
Renata Lusin remains hopeful
And the topic of wanting children has not yet been ticked off. After further examinations, she wanted to try again to become pregnant. She is aware that a pregnancy will probably never go smoothly for her: “I will automatically always be afraid that something will happen again.” Nevertheless, she is confident that it “will still work out” for her.
