Are you one of those people who could never in your life talk to others about what turns you on, fantasizes about or likes about sex? Well, now actress Gillian Anderson is urging you to do the exact opposite.

The actor is now asking women from all over the world to share what they fantasize about about sex.

Many people may know her best from the Netflix series “Sex Education”. There she plays the role of the honest and open sex therapist Jean Milburn.

In the series, we also meet the teenage son Otis Milburn. As with most mother-son relationships, Otis couldn’t imagine anything worse than his mother interfering with his sex life.

The series was therefore about mum Jean preparing Otis for what would meet him in adulthood. The aim was that what was embarrassing, whether jerking, pubic hair or a first kiss, should be transformed into something normal, nice and harmless.

Act as your own character

According to her most recent post on InstagramGillian Anderson is now said to have been inspired by her own character in the series.

Now she is writing a book, and you can be a part of it.

– As women, we know that sex is about more than just sex, but many of us never talk about it, says Anderson in the video.

The actor says that many women end up keeping their thoughts and fantasies to themselves, and that it takes another miracle to get them to open up.

– Well, here is your key. I am now writing a book based on anonymous submitters’ letters; a book that examines what women think about sex, because sex is about femininity and motherhood, infidelity and exploitation, consent and respect, justice and equality, love and hate, pleasure and pain.

Everyone is involved

The actor emphasizes that it doesn’t matter if you’re 18 or 80, or if you have sex with men, women, non-binary or no one at all.

– I want to know about your most personal desires. Let’s open up this topic together and create something revolutionary, she continues.

The only requirement is that submitters must start their letter by writing “Dear Gillian”.

And if we are to believe the actor’s own comment field on Instagram, this can bode well.

– This book will sell more copies than the Bible, writes one of her followers humorously.
