LOVE Island’s AJ Bunker revealed bosses had her change her name five minutes before she entered the villa – and her family had no idea.
The 28-year-old rose to fame during the seventh series of the ITV2 show in 2021.

The hair extension technician came into the villa like a bomb on day 17.
The star is known as AJ, but actually has the real name Andrea Jane and people call her Andrea, Jane or Janey.
However, his nickname was changed before entering the ITV2 villa.
Addressing OK! magazine, AJ said: “A few minutes before entering the villa, an executive asked me if it was okay if my name was AJ.
“I thought he was talking about the code name and wanted to keep my real name a secret.
“I didn’t realize they were actually going to change my name.
“When I first walked into the villa, my friends and family didn’t know I had a spot on the show because I couldn’t tell them.
“Then when they saw my photo they thought it looked like me but it must have been someone else because it wasn’t my name.
“My friends told me it took them minutes to realize I was on the show – even my best friend who managed my social media account was confused.”
The reality favorite became emotional on her return to the UK as she tried to explain to loved ones what happened.
She added: “I remember walking out of the villa and turning my phone on and seeing everyone calling me AJ. I cried my eyes out as soon as I saw it.
The Love Island 2021 star previously told The Sun why islanders wear sunglasses in bed, why they are never filmed eating and the VERY racy audition process.
AJ had a very short stay at the villa.
She came in like a bomb and quickly teamed up with Hugo Hammond.
The couple unfortunately couldn’t find a spark and the boys opted to kick her off the island on day 23.
