Maureen Dor was a figure on French television in the 90s and 2000s. Before joining Laurent Ruquier’s band and appearing regularly on his show We tried everythingthe host tried to compete Club Dorothée with a children’s program broadcast on France 2 in 1994. In his weekly game, Laurent Ruquier asked his guests about him, asking them if she had been a backing vocalist for Patrick Bruel. Obviously false information, which allowed her to broadcast images from the time when she co-hosted Maureen Trawl with his two accomplices. “You sang Patrick Bruel, Roch Neighbor and many other singers with Charly and Lulu at the time”he corrected, before launching a few sequences of their musical performances.

“They never talk about this period”
“It was almost thirty years ago. Do you realize? You don’t remember all that bullshit you did”, the host told him. Bruno Sanches pointed out to him that he liked to watch the show, like many children of that time. Despite the good mood that reigned on the set, Maureen Dor took the opportunity to give a little rant against the two former presenters of the Hit Machine to the surprise of Hugo Manos’ companion. “What’s crazy is that Charly and Lulu, I’m a little offended, in their biography or when they talk about TV, they never talk about this period”, she started.
